How do we AAC? Tips and Tricks for Effective Implementation

It's out of the box, what's next? AAC is a tool in our toolbox, but without effective implementation, it is like a hammer without a nail. This introductory course will go beyond opening the box and into strategies for effective treatment planning and implementation. We will learn prominent treatment approaches, scaffolding techniques and review resources for goal writing and selection. Participants will acquire clinical decision making skills to circumvent potential barriers within AAC.
