Electrotherapy Online - 4 hour

This online course approaches electrotherapy from a practical perspective, taking the basic information about current and applying it to practical scenarios encountered by therapists on a daily basis. This unique course brings together theory and practice, and will leave you charged to apply electrotherapy in creative and unique ways to achieve better results with your patients! Which modality? Which parameter settings? What physiological effects are triggered? The course delves into electrotherapeutic modalities used in patient care today, highlighting the benefits and practical applications of each modality. The course is open to OT/COTAs and PT/PTAs.

Yorick Wijting

PT, DPT

Yorick received his Physical Therapy degree in the Netherlands and his DPT at the University of St. Augustine, Florida. He has extensive training and practical experience in biophysical agents and teaches nationally and internationally to medical professionals on their therapeutic use. Yorick has been instrumental in developing the use of electrical stimulation by Speech Language Pathologists in the treatment of dysphagia. Yorick currently lives in California and runs his private practice in Gilroy, CA.
