This course will include a review of recent literature for evidence-based practice, as well as facilitate execution and interpretation of a relevant and comprehensive case history and differential diagnoses in perceptual evaluation and treatment of voice disorders. Emphasis will be placed upon evaluation and treatment of voice disorders of highest incidence of occurrence. Examples include Muscle Tension Dysphonia, Presbyphonia, Vocal Fold Paralysis, Chronic Cough, Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion, benign lesions, and post-operative considerations in voice therapy.
