Course Description

How high can I take my private practice? Productivity is at a maximum and reimbursement is steadily shrinking. Many practice owners are seeking ways to increase the number of referrals, increase market share by offering new services, work with physician owned practices, and make sure that they retain their best employees. Every private practice owner and office manager will benefit from this course that will offer strategies and business plans for PT, OT, and SLP owned private practices. This course will address ancillary services, marketing, referrals, reimbursement, and practice growth issues. Alan Tyson will give business owners his detailed successful game plan for a growing Rehab Private Practice including the financial impact of referrals, retention, and ancillary services. Each participant will learn approaches to be able to develop a personalized plan before leaving this seminar. NOTE: The CEU portion of the seminar ends at 3:15pm. Each participant will be welcome to attend a detailed business model lecture on the specifics of structuring neutraceuticals as an ancillary service. (3:15pm-5:00pm)

Alan Tyson

PT, SCS, ATC-L, CSCS

Alan Tyson, PT, SCS, ATC-L, CSCS is Vice President of Sports Performance and Rehabilitation for Epicenter Sports Performance at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC. He is co-owner of CHASE Wellness, Inc and member of the private practice section of the APTA. He is a physical therapist board certified as a sports clinical specialist. He is a certified athletic trainer as well as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has worked two years with the Charlotte Knights (AAA affiliate for the Chicago White Sox) and continues to serve as a consultant to the team. Alan is also a consultant with the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Eagles. Alan is the co-developer of Jumpmetrics, a jump training and performance program for female athletes.
